About the Author - Mark Gerson
Mark is an influential Jewish leader, author, and philanthropist. Mark and his wife, Rabbi Erica, are likely the largest Jewish donors to Christian causes in the world. For example, they personally fund the annual $500,000 L’Chaim prize, awarding finances to Christian ministries operating in Africa through African Health Care Ministries. They work in close partnership with Gordon Robertson and CBN in this work. Mark also writes a weekly Torah teaching column for the CBN/700 Club family. He is the co-founder and chairman of United Hatzalah, the crowd-sourced system of volunteer first responders that enables Israelis to be treated within the three minutes that separate life from death following a trauma.
